A caccia di fake news (PCTO Summer Camp 2025)

A 45-minute seminar in Italian for secondary-school students taking part in the University of Udine’s PCTO Summer Camp in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, held on September 4, 2025.

The session introduced misinformation, fact-checking, and the role of ground truth. It covered agreement between assessors and included a Google Colab demonstration of an automated fact-checking support system, comparing model predictions with human labels and examining ambiguous evidence.
